I love to read. I love to share. I would love to share my passion for reading with all of you.

It's a very simple concept. I have a book and I want to share it with you. Just follow these simple steps.

  • #Browse through my collection of books. For tips on how to find a book click here.
  • #Choose one you like. I have provided a plot summary and review for each book to help you.
  • #Leave a comment under that particular post ("I want to borrow this book" or something similar).
  • #Contact me at and leave your name and mailing address.
  • #I will mail the book to you and you can read it.

In order to promote reading to others too please do these simple steps.

  • #Tell all your book loving friends.
  • #You may keep the book for 2 weeks (upon recieving it- so notify me when it arrives safely- extensions are negotiable).
  • #After that, please mail it to the next person requesting the book (contact me to get their address). If nobody else has requested the book, simply mail it back to me.

  • Hmm.. I wonder if this crazy idea will actually work...

First Impression || The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

The Trial
Lisbeth Salander- outsider and apparent enemy of society- is charged with attempted murder. The state has also ruled that she is mentally unstable, and should be locked away in an institution once again. But she is closely guarded in a hospital, having taken a bullet to her head, so how will she prove her innocence?
The Enemy
Pulling the strings of the prosecution is the powerful inner circle of Sapo, the state security police. Determined to protect the secrets and corruption at Sweden's rotten core, Sapo is not an adversary to take on alone.
The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
Only with the help of Mikael Blomkovist and the journalists at Millennium magazine can Salander avoid the fate that has been decided for her. Together they form a compelling and dynamic alliance. This final volume of the Millenium Trilogy is the culmination of one of the most mesmerising fictional achievements of our time.

It is estimated that some six hundred women served during the American Civil War. - 1st line

The cover: The cover that I have is very much like the 2nd book (The Girl who Played with Fire), though it is darker and more brooding. The young woman is pictured as a strong-willed and determined person, surrounded by darkness and evil. The dragon that partially covers her face is now green, depicting power and vengeance.
The story: This is the last book of the Millennium series and was gifted to me by my friend Dr Yati who noted that I only had the first book (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) in my possession. The 2nd book ended abruptly and Lisbeth Salander's fate was in question, I am looking forward to getting some closure with this final installment. I hope that Larsson manages to put as much action and pace into courtroom drama as he did in his previous books.

Advanced rating: 4/5
