Basic plot
Two teenage lovers who are in what appears to be a suicide pact gone wrong. The boy survives, the girl dies and the aftermath devastates two families who have essentially been "extended family" for the last 18 years. The setting is both present day and past which is a feature we see in many of Picoults books-something that sets her writing style apart. (source)
My review (on Visual Bookshelf)
A haunting book. A beautiful and tragic love story. Must read. 4.5/5

I want to borrow the book. But I don't have a blog and I don't have a Facebook account either. So I can't fulfill your request to promote this blog by reviewing the book. Can I still borrow this book? TQ
Kartini: sure, after you read the book, just write me a short note on whether or not you enjoyed it and why. I will publish your review on my blog if you don't mind.
