Actually picked up the book coz it was written by the author of Sex in the city (which I have never seen) and Lipstick Jungle (which I have). It was an average read. I guess the scandalous life of a Victoria Secret supermodel is just not my cup of tea. The inner workings of New York society comes off as very sperficial and mean. Gonna stay away from chick lit for a while...

i completely agree with your review on this book. it was a disastrous read for me, i did not even finish it.
the book just do not hold any good message at all.
i actually throw away this book. hehe. it was that bad.

hi adibah. welcome. thanks for visiting my blog(s). Yup, this book really wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not a huge fan of chick lit but I do try a few books and sometimes find a gem. Sorry to hear that you had to throw it away, hehe, maybe next time can just pass it to someone else.. you never know "one man's trash is another man's treasure".
